katy layne accessories, LLC is a small southern Maine-based business started by two fashionista friends after having a little too much wine with dinner one evening. After lots of encouragement from family and friends, Katy (Barbi's niece) Layne (Mollie’s sister in law) was born! Together, with an impeccable eye for cool fabrics, great colors and fine detail, they specialize in creating handbags from beautiful fabrics that they combine to create unique, whimsical, or even elegant handbags and evening bags.

Mollie is an active volunteer, with three wonderful children, three crazy dogs, and one great husband. Barbara is a dental hygienist by day and talented seamstress by night, with a handsome teenage son, adoring husband, and one fat yellow lab. Traveling to craft fiars around New England, selling at home parties, and just trying to be moms, friends, and giving members of the community keeps them both very busy.
